Abstract

The article discusses the use of artificial intelligence (AI) technologies in the educational process, in particular, in mathematics lessons based on STEM education. The literature with practices of scientists in the field of artificial intelligence, STEM education. The main focus is on the introduction of AI to improve the quality of education, the use of educational technologies. The authors conducted a pedagogical experiment with the participation of middle-level students in Astana, with the aim of studying the readiness of schoolchildren to work with AI in the process of studying mathematics based on STEM education. As a result of the experiment, advantages of AI were revealed, such as increased interest in learning, as well as disadvantages, including dependence on technology. The authors concluded that for the successful implementation of AI in school education, it is necessary to develop skills in working with these technologies, create methods for teachers and students.
